Welcome to Gion Arts

In 2009, we opened Gion Arts beside our Restaurant. Inside Gion Arts shop, you’ll find products imported from Japan and items handcrafted by Japanese artisans. From Japanese tea cups, bowls, platters to delicately handcrafted wallets, our shop carries a wide variety of specialty goods.

We also sell well-preserved antique Obi & Kimono as well as antique furniture (80-100 years old) shipped in from Kyoto, Japan - the furniture price ranges from NZD $200 and up. Whether you are looking for something special for yourself or a unique gift to someone, we are sure you'll find something at Gion Arts.

We only carry limited numbers of each product and for some, we only have one! So for the latest products in store, please come visit us. Located at 197 Parnell Road, Auckland, Gion Arts is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 12noon to 4:30pm and Saturday 12noon to 3pm. We look forward to seeing you in our shop!
